2001 Peterbilt, 379, EXHD Classic

by David King
(Greeneville, TN)

I am a self- employed owner operator. I started David King Trucking in 1997.
I'll admit it's been tough, but I love the challenge!
I've run Tennessee to California for years. Now, California doesn't want my old Pete, in their state any more and I don't want to get newer truck. I love my old one.... it gets high fives to low sixes fuel mileage, but less if I get playing around!

It has a 550 cat 18 speed with 355 rears and 70 inch sleeper and loaded with stainless steel.

I have been doing the same thing. I've run California for years with my 1997 Kenworth W900 show truck, but now those folks out in California don't want me any more.... their loss. Good luck out there trucking around.
