While delivering out in the sticks of Nova Scotia Canada, I came upon on this ol' girl. Me being from England, I do not know much about these old trucks.
STG comment: I'm not 100 % certain, but it appears to be about a 1960's Autocar. Can't see the back axle, but it was probably used for light duty work, like perhaps grocery delivery, or something like that.
It doesn't appear to be heavy enough for logging although I'm not sure. It looks to have been modified, though, and could be an old logging truck.
Thanks for the photo, Craig.
If anyone has any photos they'd care to share of some of these beautiful old vintage trucks, please send them in. If you have the specs and any description available to you, send the info along too. We'll post them on the site for everyone to enjoy.
We're also looking for photos of older vintage trucks, which have been restored. Same applies... send along the specs so we can post them along with the photos.
These older trucks represent the wondeful nostalgia and history behind the modern day semi trucks and it's pretty neat to see how radically different the new trucks are.
